Rose Cottage Home for Girls, Atherington, Devon

In 1901, the Waifs and Strays Society established the Rose Cottage Home for Girls at Atherington, near Umberleigh, in Devon. The home accommodated up to seven girls aged from 5 to 12 years at their date of admission.

The home closed in 1905. The property is now a private residence.
