Foswell, Auchterarder, Perthshire, Scotland

Opened in August 1941, Foswell was one of the dozen or so wartime evacuation centres that Barnardo's established in large country houses in Scotland. Foswell was used to house children up to the age of five.

The home was closed in December 1945. The property, which dates from the late eighteenth century, is now a listed building.
