Tudor House, Barkingside, Ilford, Essex

Several hostels were established by Barnardo's for older girls from its Village Home who had started employment in domestic service in the area. One of these was known as Tudor House.

Information on Tudor House is sketchy but it existed by at least the 1930s. In 1968, Tudor House was recorded as being a hostel for boys and located at 236 Ashurst Drive, Barkingside.
