Homes for Infants, Blackheath, Kent

In 1918, Barnardo's set up two homes at Blackheath for infants and young children up to the age of four.

The home at Finchley Lodge on St John's Park (now Stratheden) Road had accommodation for fifteen children. The Hendra home at 32 St John's Park had places for twenty children.

Both homes had closed by 1935.
