Ever Open Door, Kilkeel, Co. Down, Northern Ireland

In 1941, Barnardo's opened an Ever Open Door hostel at "Kilkeel Infirmary". Where this was is unclear — possibly the Mourne Hospital building on Newry Street.

The hostel closed in around 1949 with its role passing to the Macedon home at Newtownabbey.

Records

Note: many repositories impose a closure period of up to 100 years for records identifying individuals.
