Corris House, Much Wenlock, Shropshire

The Corris House Barnardo's Home at Southfield Road, Much Wenlock, opened its doors in 1929 with an official opening ceremony taking place the following year. The home provided long-term accommodation for fifty boys up to the age of fourteen. In later years, the home catered for boys residing on a shorter-term basis.

The home closed in August 1979 and the building is now an elderly care home.
