Tamar House, Plymouth, Devon

The Tamar House Barnardo's Home opened in august 1962 in a modern building at 13 SpringHill Green in the Pennycross district of Plymouth. The home underwent a temporary closure from January 1970 to January 1973 when it re-opened as a hostel for up to fifteen adolescents.

The home closed in 1979 and the building is now occupied by a local day nursery.
