St Michael's Home for Girls, Sevenoaks, Kent

St Michael's Home for Girls was founded by the Misses Johnson in 1878. Its premises on Vine Court Road, Sevenoaks, could accommodate 16 girls aged from 8 to 14.

The 1914, when the sisters decided to retire, the home was taken over by the Waifs and Strays Society.

In 1920, the unsuitability of the property and the expiry of its lease led to the home being closed.
