Barnardo House, Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia

In 1924, Barnardo's established a reception home for girls emigrating from Britain at Barnardo House, Alt Street, Ashfield, New South Wales.

In 1933, the establishment was converted into a girls' training home.

In around 1935, the home was closed and subsequently re-opened in new premises at Burwood.
