Atherstone Home for Children, Atherstone, Warwickshire

The Atherstone Home for Children was opened in the late 1890s by the Community of Sacred Compassion, an Anglican order based at Halton, Hastings. The Atherstone Home, located at Chapel House, Friar's Gate, Atherstone, accommodated 22 neglected girls and orphans, who were educated and trained for service.
