L'Hôpital-Hospice des Enfants Assistés, Bordeaux, Gironde, France

L'Hôpital-Hospice des Enfants Assistés in Bordeaux was established to deal with foundling, abandoned and other unwanted children. It originally occupied premises at the Quai de Paludate but in 1886 moved into a new building on Route (or Cours)de Bayonne (now Cours de l'Argonne).

The Cours de l'Argonne building is now occupied by the Communauté d'Universités et Établissements d'Aquitaine (Community of Universities and Higher Education Institutions of Aquitaine).
