The Marfords, Bromborough, Cheshire

The Marfords — a large house on Dibbinsdale Road, Bromborough — became a Barnardo's home in 1937. It provided accommodation for 25 boys, with the age of admission being from 7 to 14 years.

The home closed in 1962 with the boys being relocated to the Arnhall home at Llandudno. The Bromborough building no longer exists and the Dibbins Green housing development now covers the site.
