Greenhills Nursery, Earls Colne, Colchester, Essex

The Greenhills Nursery was opened by the Waifs and Strays Society in 1959 on Halstead Road, Earls Colne, near Colchester. The nursery, which replaced one at Great Maplestead that had closed two years earlier, provided residential care for children up to the age of three.

The nursery closed in 1972. The property is now a private residence.
