Girls' Home, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

In 1908, a home for thirty-five girls was established by the National Children's Home (NCH) at Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. The home, in some rented houses, was set up as a temporary measure to relieve the pressure on numbers in other branches. The home appears to have closed within a year or two.
