Scoil Ard Mhuire Reformatory for Boys, Lusk, Dublin, Republic of Ireland

The Scoil Ard Mhuire Reformatory was opened in 1974 at Oberstown, Lusk, Co. Dublin. Accommodating up to 60 boys, it replaced the Daingean Reformatory which had closed the previous year. Together with Trinity House School, Oberstown, Scoil Ard Mhuire formed the Oberstown Youth Centre. Like Daingean, Scoil Ard Mhuire was run by the religious order the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

Following a decline in admissions, and a general move towards community based interventions, Scoil Ard Mhuire was closed in 1985.
