Wretham Hall, Thetford, Norfolk

In 1939, a Barnardo's wartime evacuation centre was opened at Wretham Hall near Thetford. Not long afterwards, however, the property was requisitioned by the Royal Air Force as an officers' mess for a nearby airfield at East Wretham. Barnardo's stopped using the Hall in October 1940 and the children were transferred to Wangford Hall in Suffolk.

Wretham Hall no longer exists.
